Crafting With Cristina: My Challenge!

Hey Everyone!

    I am so sorry I have been MIA lately. I am hoping to get a lot of scrapping and crafting done this week so I will have some things to share with you.
Today, is another Companion Challenge over at Crafting With Cristina. The design team each has their own day to pick the theme and this day is mine. I chose to do a color challenge using the colors Pink Orange and White. I picked these colors because it falls along with the color scheme of my daughters upcoming birthday.

For my project I decided to make a treat box using Cristina's Gable Box tutorial. However, I dont have an oval punch or a window punch so lets just call it a faux gable. :)

I am not 100% sure that I am going to use this as a favor box but I just had to try it out. I cut the pinata from Birthday Bash and let me tell ya, those layers aint no joke. That's the only negative about the cartridge. :). I used colored raffia that I purchased from here. The fringe was made using the MS fringe scissors. and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms.

I am a plan ahead kind of person so you will be seeing more 1st birthday party decor and more in the near future.
