So Sweet {Circle Challenge}

Hey Everyone!

    I am home and settled from our two week stay in Minneapolis. It feels so good to be home! The weather here has been kind of crazy, we had a tornado touch down at least five miles from us on Thursday night. We always get warnings but nothing serious (I live in Cincinnati) so this was a real shocker for us. The good thing is, this weekend will be hot and perfect! My kind of weather ;).

I have a lot of birthday layouts (so far) to share with you so watch out for more posts on them. Today I am sharing a layout that Im entering into the Cricut Circle Challenge. Here are the details:

The Challenge: What makes summertime “sweet” to you? Ice cream treats? Watermelon? Popsicles? Whatever it is we want you to include the shape of your favorite summertime sweet treat on your project. But that’s not all! Raid your stamp stash and incorporate them somewhere on your project as well. Have fun!
Rules and Guidelines: Circle Blog Challenges are open to Cricut Circle Members only. Your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts. You must submit a project to be entered into the Challenge Prize Drawing. One entry per person, please.

Simple enough! Here is my layout:

I made this layout for my daughter's second year book. Now that I think a bout it, this will be the first one! I wanted to have a layout ready because she loves food and anything sweet. Really though, who doesnt?

I used my Everday Character Faces from Peachy Keen Stamps on the ice cream and sunshine. That was one of the rules for this challenge as well!

Hope you enjoyed my layout, I'll be back with birthday related ones over the weekend!
