I was contacted by My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking company to review their product. I must admit that at first I was a little hesitant because I always thought digital layouts looked a little, well... thrown together! I am a paper scrapbooker by heart but figured it wouldnt hurt to try.
I found it to be really useful for those photos that don't make it into my scrapbooks. I will say, it took me a little while to figure out how to use the free kits I downloaded. However, once I figured it out it was smooth sailing from there and was really easy to put together.
I think I will use this mainly for holiday gifts. I send out of town relatives the occasional pictures but it would be nice to gift them an actual album to show them how the kids have grown.
Here is the first digital layout I created:
Not only can you print out your layouts, but you also have the option of ordering them to arrive in a hardbound book! If you don't want to bother with those they also offer turning your scrapbook into a movie, calendar, posters, or trading cards. Tons of options are available. :).
Would this be something you'd like to try out? Well guess what, they are giving me one to giveaway! All you have to do is:
1. Visit www.MyMemories.com. and comment on this post telling me which digital paper pack is your favorite.
2. For an extra entry, comment on my Facebook fan page.
I will choose the winner using random.org on October 28th one week from today!
For those that are interested, if you use the following promo code you can save $10 off the software and receive a $10 coupon for the My Memories store. How awesome is that!? Here is the code you'll need:
