About Me

Here is some info about me!

My name is Amanda and I live in Cincinnati, OH. I am in my early twenties and attend school part time. My major is in marketing and doing it part time seems to take FOREVER. All I can say is, at least I am attending lol.

I am a mother to a beautiful eight month old baby girl. Her name is Aliahna (ah.lee.ah.nuh lol) and I love being a momma. I have a fiance whose name is Sal and he is the most amazing person I have ever met. In addition, we have a dog named Paco who is a Beagle.

I have always loved crafting and I completed my first scrapbook in 2006. It was for an English exam (easy huh?) and I fell in love with the hobby. I went many years without scrapping anything but always had the itch. I remember seeing an infomercial on the Cricut and thought how wonderful it would be to have something like that. However, being fresh out of high school I couldnt afford it so I continued to wish. When I got pregnant in 2009, I started taking weekly or biweekly photos of my growing belly. I really wanted to cherish the memory even though I wasnt in love with being pregnant. I ended up buying the baby bug in April of 2010 to start my pregnancy scrapbook. The first cartridge I bought was New Arrival and I got it off of Ebay (thrifty as a beginner huh?). I visited youtube a lot for ideas on layouts and came across Robyn (My Pink Stamper) she was so helpful through those videos that It didnt take long for me to be hooked!

It took me two weeks to want the big Cricut and finally in June 2010 my fiance bought it for me! I feel like this hobby is a great one to have as it helps us capture memories for a lifetime. I am excited for the day I can show my daughter the pictures of my pregnancy, as well as of her throughout her growth. I am slowly learning more techniques on a daily basis ( I love browsing blogs! ) and I cant wait to share what I make!
